There are two different kinds of reports. 

1. The Author Dashboard is available from the "My Account" page
2. Monthly Readership Report delivered automatically to authors’ inboxes

How to Create a bepress Account

1. From our repository homepage, click on My Account in the navigation bar (upper right)
2. Click the Sign Up link on the login screen.
3. Enter the requested information, use your Mercer email address and create a password.
4. Click Create Account.
5. A confirmation message will be sent to your email account. If you don’t receive an email, check your spam folder or contact Consulting Services for additional help with completing your account setup.

How to Log In

1. From our repository homepage and most other public-facing pages, click the My Account link in the site’s navigation bar.
2. On the login screen, enter your email address and password, and click Login.

Your “My Account” Page

The My Account page is accessible via the repository’s My Account tab or footer link. If you are not logged in when clicking My Account, you will first be prompted to log in.

Your My Account page provides general account settings and specific tools for the contexts you manage, or for which you are an author or reviewer.

• The Edit Profile link provides options for users to edit their personal account details (name, contact information, affiliation, etc.). To change your account email address or password enter a new value on the Edit Profile screen and click Update. When you reset your password, you will be asked to log back in with the new password.
• The Research Alerts link includes preferences for receiving bepress email notices.
• The Follow Management link allows users to see the names of sites, publications, authors, or disciplines that they have chosen to follow. This is done using the blue Follow button that appears across bepress products. For details, see Follow: Enabling Visitors to Stay Up To Date with Your Current Scholarship.

Views of My Account

What users see when logged onto My Account depends on their roles and activities within the bepress system. All users will see options to edit their profile, manage research alerts, and access their Author Dashboard.

When authors or reviewers log in to their My Account page, they do not see any editor or administrator tools. They only see their works and assignments.

PlumX Metrics — including citations, media mentions, tweets and more — is integrated into all Digital Commons dashboards. Administrators, authors, and  journal editors have easy and efficient access to a greater variety of metrics to build powerful pictures of usage and impact.

• Show which content is receiving the most attention across multiple dimensions
• Provide additional metrics for specific collections, departments or profiles
• Easily share pertinent data with stakeholders
• Provide citation counts for published works
• Collect data on impact of non-article outputs (data sets, video plays, etc.)

Access the metrics by logging in to your dashboard and click on the Plum icon in the sidebar.
