Savanna Nolan joined Mercer University School of Law as the Associate Librarian for Administration and Public Services in July 2025. She has worked in academic law libraries across the Washington, D.C., and southeastern U.S. regions, including Georgetown University, the University of Baltimore, and the University of Georgia.
Prior to joining Mercer, Savanna served as Instruction and Faculty Services Librarian at the University of Georgia School of Law. In that role, she taught first-year and advanced legal research and designed undergraduate courses focused on media literacy, civic information, and the law. Her research and writing explore the intersections of legal research education, media literacy, and occasionally baseball. She is an active contributor to national professional organizations, including the American Association of Law Libraries and its Southeastern subchapter (SEAALL), where she currently serves as Treasurer. She has also served on the planning committee for the Teaching the Teachers Conference and is a frequent presenter on andragogy and active learning strategies.
