With the new 2021–2022 school year comes another first for Mercer Law Library: the creation of a blog! As our first blog post, we are happy to share our experiences meeting the Mercer Law Class of 2024.
Everyone at Mercer Law Library had a wonderful time meeting the new 1Ls during today's Welcome Walk! Students were provided with informational library materials, as well as goodie bags to help them get started with this new educational adventure. Check out these pictures of our newest students!
Professor Newman and Professor Dewey were excited to meet the new students and tell them about what the law library has to offer. Introduction to Legal Research classes won't kick off for two more weeks, but the law librarians wanted to make sure the new students understand that everyone at the law library is here to help and support them.
We look forward to the upcoming school year and hope to see many students studying in the library once classes start. We have a lot of new and exciting projects coming soon, so stay tuned!
