National Conference of Bar Examiners

The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) develops the tests used by most U.S. jurisdictions for bar admission:

  • Multistate Bar Examination (MBE)
  • Multistate Essay Examination (MEE)
  • Multistate Performance Test (MPT)
  • Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE)
  • Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) (Georgia does not participate in the UBE)

The Office of Bar Admissions is the administrative arm of the Supreme Court of Georgia responsible for the admission of attorneys to the practice of law in Georgia. All bar applicants must create a personal account on the Office of Bar Admission's website, where important deadlines are also posted, along with the following information:
